Job summary

Spectrum Care in South Auckland is seeking a part-time Community Support Worker (Residential) to help adults with intellectual and/or physical disabilities live great lives. You will assist with personal activities, daily living tasks, and community participation, adapting to each person’s needs and dreams.

The ideal candidate will have empathy, energy, resilience, and excellent English, plus a NZ driver’s licence and the ability to pass a NZ police check.

Qualifications

• Empathy for supporting adults with disability.
• Ability to work with personal cares and daily living skills.
• Excellent written and verbal English required.
• Willingness to obtain further CSW qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal activities and daily living tasks.
• Support community participation, socialising, work or education.
