Job summary

Hato Hone St John is seeking an Emergency Medical Assistant or Emergency Medical Technician to join our Otaki team on a permanent fulltime basis. You will contribute to ambulance operations, provide patient care under supervision, and maintain vehicle and equipment readiness.

The ideal candidate will have a First Responder qualification or EMT ATP, a clean driving record, strong interpersonal skills and a genuine commitment to helping others, with NZ citizenship or valid work visa required.

We have an opportunity for an Emergency Medical Assistant or Emergency Medical Technician to join our team in Otaki!

This is a Permanent Fulltime position, working a 4 x 4 DDNN roster.

In this role you will:

• Drive the ambulance and assistwith the delivery of patient care (under supervision)
• Ensure operational readiness of vehicle and equipment
• Complete otherrelevant administrative tasks

We are looking for individuals who are adaptable and can settle into our team with ease, work alongside both paid and volunteer staff and provide a high level of care to our patients. The ideal applicants would have a positive demeanour, willingness to contribute to station portfolios, and champion clinical excellence.
