Job summary

Beca's Applied Technology division is seeking a Systems Engineer to deliver embedded and mission-critical software systems across defence, aviation, maritime and other regulated sectors.

You'll work with a multidisciplinary team across the systems engineering lifecycle, applying rigorous requirements management and system thinking to design, integrate, test and deploy robust solutions that meet real-world needs.

Qualifications

• Experience across design, development, integration and testing of embedded/mission-critical systems.
• Ability to document technical design and support project outcomes.
• Experience in regulated environments such as defence, aviation, maritime, or safety-critical industries.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, integrate, and test embedded/mission-critical systems with a focus on interoperability.
• Define high-level problems and translate them into technical solutions addressing real needs.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to solve complex challenges.
• Support project delivery within time and budget for mission-critical systems.
