Job summary

Trimble is seeking an Intermediate to Career Level Firmware Engineer to join the CTCT joint venture in Christchurch, NZ. You will design and maintain firmware for compute boxes and GNSS sensors, contributing to hardware product design and manufacturing.

Responsibilities include bring-up, drivers, and validation workflows while collaborating with external FW suppliers. A strong background in C/C++, Linux, and embedded systems is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelors in CS/Software/Electrical or related field.
• 3+ years of embedded firmware in C/C++ on embedded Linux.
• Experience with RTOS, compilers and debuggers.

Responsibilities

• Develop core firmware for compute boxes and GNSS sensors in Linux.
• Support board bring-up for new hardware platforms.
• Collaborate with external firmware suppliers to CTCT.
• Contribute to automated unit and functional testing.
