Job summary

This hands-on role requires strong fault finding in mechanical and electrical systems, ability to read drawings and manuals, and a commitment to safety, quality and customer service. Occasional travel around New Zealand is expected.

Qualifications

• Strong elevator installation and commissioning experience across a range of models and components.
• Reading and interpreting technical drawings, wiring diagrams and manufacturer manuals.
• Commitment to health and safety and safe working practices.

Responsibilities

• Installing, upgrading and commissioning a variety of elevator systems
• Diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults
• Troubleshooting issues and completing corrective work promptly
• Reading and interpreting technical drawings, wiring diagrams and manufacturer manuals
• Completing accurate service, testing and project documentation
• Following New Zealand health and safety requirements
• Communicating professionally with clients, contractors and team members
• Travelling and staying away from home when required for projects
