Job summary

Get Electronic in Christchurch is seeking two Electronics Technicians for their Waltham location. This hands-on, component-level repair role involves diagnosing faults without schematics, testing circuits, and developing repair solutions where none exist.

You’ll work with automotive ECUs, CAN networks, power electronics and analogue/digital circuits using oscilloscopes, multimeters, and bench supplies. We value curiosity, problem-solving and collaboration, and offer a modern fully equipped lab

Qualifications

• Hands-on component-level repair focus; diagnoses faults without a schematic or manual.
• Ability to trace circuits, test components and develop repair solutions where none exist.
• Curiosity and problem-solving mindset are essential; good communication welcome.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose faults in automotive and electronic modules at component level.
• Trace circuits, test components and identify root causes.
• Develop repair procedures and contribute to repair database.
• Interact with customers at counters and over the phone.
