Job summary

PAE NZ is seeking registered electricians for a major Wellington contract. You will carry out maintenance, tests, installations and repairs across critical electrical systems, with guidance to develop new skills.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years' trade related experience in a similar role.
• NZ Registered Electrician Qualification.
• NZ CPL (Current Practising Licence).
• NZ Driver's Licence Class A (Car Licence) is essential.
• Experience in light industrial and domestic LV maintenance and installation (desirable).
• Ability to work in a team as well as independently.
• Clear verbal and written communication.
• Evidence of legal right to work in New Zealand.

What we’re looking for

We have an opportunity for Registered Electricians to join our team working on a large Wellington contract. If you have recently obtained registration or you are an experienced electrician, we would love to hear from you. We are keen to develop and support your growth through mentoring and a variety of opportunities to learn new skills.

As part of our team, you will work undertaking a range of maintenance tasks and be able to turn your hand to a wide range of tasks including test, install, maintain and repair electrical systems and equipment.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

• 3-5 Years' Trade related experience in a similar role
• NZ Registered Electrician Qualification
• Have an NZ Current Practicing License (CPL)
• NZ Driver's Licence A class (Car Licence) is essential
• Experience in light industrial and domestic LV maintenance and installation work (desirable)
• Ability to work as part of a team as well as independently
• Can communicate clearly verbally and written
• Evidence that you arelegally able to work in New Zealand
