Job summary

NPE-Tech (2021) Limited in New Plymouth is seeking an experienced Service/Installation Electrician to join our team. The role covers residential and commercial installation, servicing and maintenance across a variety of sites.

You will be self-motivated, safety‑minded and capable of working independently within a progressive team. A NZ Registered Electrician and NZ residency are required, along with a full NZ driver’s licence.

Qualifications

• NZ Registered Electrician with active certification.
• Full NZ driver’s licence.
• At least 2 years’ experience in service-based electrical work.
• Commercial and industrial electrical experience.
• NZ resident.

Responsibilities

• Cover residential and commercial installation, servicing and maintenance.
• Perform electrical testing and fault finding.
• Maintain high health and safety standards.
• Communicate effectively with clients and the team.

You Should

• Be a NZ Registered Electrician
• Hold a full, valid NZ driver's licence
• Have at least 2 years' experience in service-based electrical work
• Have commercial and industrial experience in electrical systems
• Understand and have great attention to safety procedures and processes
• Be a NZ resident who normally resides within NZ
