Job summary

Enterprise Recruitment seeks an Electrical Works Coordinator to join a respected infrastructure business delivering critical electrical projects across the Wellington region.

You will coordinate maintenance and project activities across HV and LV networks, ensuring work is planned, resources available, risks identified, and communication is maintained across all parties to keep projects progressing smoothly from start to finish.

Qualifications

  • Experience in the electricity/ utilities sector.
  • Knowledge of overhead lines or underground cable systems.
  • Strong coordination, planning, and scheduling abilities.
  • NZ Citizenship or Permanent Residency or eligibility to work in NZ.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and schedule maintenance and project work across electrical network assets.
  • Plan resources and support the delivery of work programmes.
  • Assist with job scoping, documentation, and risk assessments.
  • Work closely with project teams to ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.
  • Liaise with clients, contractors, engineers, and operational teams.
  • Monitor progress and proactively resolve issues that may impact delivery.
  • Support successful project outcomes through effective communication and collaboration.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across planning and delivery functions.

Electrical Works Coordinator

Join a highly respected and growing infrastructure business delivering critical electrical projects across the Wellington region.

We are looking for an experienced Electrical Works Coordinator who understands the power industry and can bring together people, resources, and technical expertise to ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and on schedule.

Whether your background comes from network operations, project coordination, planning, engineering support, field supervision, asset management, or hands-on network experience, you'll have a solid understanding of overhead lines, underground cable networks, or both, and know what it takes to deliver work in the electricity sector successfully.

The Role

Working closely with project managers, engineers, field crews, clients, and stakeholders, you'll coordinate maintenance and project activities across HV and LV power networks.

You'll be responsible for ensuring work is properly planned, resources are available, risks are identified, and communication is maintained across all parties to keep projects progressing smoothly from start to finish.

  • Experience within the electricity, utilities, or power infrastructure sector

  • NZ Citizenship or Permanent Residency
