Job summary

TRS Staffing Solutions in Auckland is seeking a dedicated Electrician on a 2-2-3 shift pattern for a 24/7 food production site. You’ll handle preventative maintenance on electrical/control systems, troubleshoot PLCs, and support SCADA/HMI operations.

The role requires full NZ electrical registration, faultfinding skills, and experience with Allen Bradley PLCs, in addition to a willingness to assist with mechanical tasks. NZ working rights are required.

Qualifications

• Full EWRB Electrical registration.
• Strong faultfinding ability.
• Familiar with Allen Bradley / Rockwell PLCs.
• Experience with HMI and SCADA systems.
• Willing to assist with mechanical tasks as required.
• Current and unrestricted NZ working rights.

Responsibilities

• Be the dedicated Electrician on shift, maintaining PLCs, motors, and E-stops to keep production humming.
• Perform preventative maintenance on electrical and control systems (SCADA/HMI).
• Utilise MEX CMMS to log activities and communicate with the maintenance team.
