Qjumpers seeks an Electrical Lecturer to share knowledge and industry experience with ākonga in Dunedin. You will foster a culturally safe learning environment and deliver practical and theoretical electrical skills to a diverse learner group.

The role emphasises adaptability, lifelong learning and strong commitment to te ao Māori, te Tiriti o Waitangi, and inclusive teaching practices to support student success.

Qualifications

• NZ electrical registration and license with current status.
• Experience mentoring or supervising learners in an industry setting is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Be a positive role model and mentor, supporting ākonga to build confidence, connection and achieve their goals.
• Assess learners and report on their capability to use new electrical technology and tools.
• Teach and support a diverse range of ākonga using inclusive, culturally responsive approaches.
• Contribute to attendance, engagement, curriculum development, assessment, moderation and progress reporting.
