Job summary

Beca Limited is seeking an Electrical, Instrumentation & Control Engineer to join our Industrial team in Tauranga, Hamilton or other Beca offices. You will contribute to LV/MV electrical design, power distribution, motor control, and electrical infrastructure for large capital projects from concept through commissioning.

You'll work with multidisciplinary teams across water, wastewater, food & beverage, energy, manufacturing, and industrial sectors, gaining exposure to diverse projects in

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Engineering (Electrical) or equivalent qualification.
• 4+ years' experience designing LV and MV electrical systems and contributing to multidisciplinary engineering projects.
• Knowledge of New Zealand and/or Australian electrical standards.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• A collaborative approach and a passion for solving complex engineering challenges.
• Experience in industrial facilities, water and wastewater treatment plants, manufacturing, or energy projects would be highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the design and delivery of LV and MV electrical systems and power distribution.
• Design motor control and electrical infrastructure for large capital projects from concept through commissioning.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across water, wastewater, food & beverage, energy, manufacturing, and industrial sectors.
• Work across Tauranga, Hamilton, and other Beca offices with exposure to projects in Aotearoa, Australia and Asia.
