Job summary

Beca is seeking an Electrical, Instrumentation & Control Engineer to join its Industrial team in Tauranga, Hamilton, or another Beca office location. The role focuses on design and delivery of LV and MV electrical systems for large capital projects from concept through to commissioning.

You'll gain exposure to projects across water, wastewater, food and beverage, energy, manufacturing, and industrial sectors in New Zealand and beyond, with opportunities to grow professionally within one of Asia

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Engineering (Electrical) or equivalent.
• 4+ years’ experience designing LV and MV electrical systems.
• Knowledge of New Zealand and/or Australian electrical standards.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• A collaborative approach and a passion for solving complex engineering challenges.
• Experience in industrial facilities, water and wastewater treatment plants, manufacturing, or energy projects would be highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Design LV and MV electrical systems for industrial projects.
• Contribute to power distribution, motor control, and electrical infrastructure from concept through commissioning.
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams across water, wastewater, energy, manufacturing, and industrial sectors.
