Aotea Electric Auckland seeks an Electrical Estimator to join our established team and contribute to large-scale commercial projects. You will review client documentation, quantify costs, and prepare detailed estimates to support tender submissions.
Based in Auckland, you will liaise with clients and suppliers, develop estimates within deadlines, and maintain records while applying sound knowledge of electrical installation methods and regulations. Strong communication and teamwork are essential.

We are seeking an Electrical Estimator to join our established team of estimators. This is an excellent opportunity to learn and further develop your estimating expertise and contribute to the successful delivery of a wide variety of large-scale commercial electrical projects.
Key responsibilities include:
Review client documentation including plans, specifications, design and build documents, and schedules of quantities for pricing and estimation.
Accurately quantify project documentation and prepare detailed cost estimates.
Liaise with clients and suppliers to obtain information required for accurate pricing.
Develop and present estimates and tender submissions within required deadlines.
Maintain accurate records and information throughout the estimating process.
You’ll ideally bring:
Sound knowledge of electrical installation methods, industry regulations, materials, and equipment.
Electrical industry experience, ideally with strong commercial and technical understanding.
Proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proactive and able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Strong organisational skills with a high level of attention to detail.
