Job summary

RCR Infrastructure Ltd in New Zealand seeks an experienced Electrical Engineer / Project Manager to lead delivery of electrical, HVAC, and critical infrastructure projects nationwide. You will manage from tender handover through commissioning, ensuring safety, on-time delivery and quality, while maintaining strong client relationships.

You'll bring a recognised electrical engineering qualification and proven experience delivering projects from planning to completion, with NZ standards knowledge

Qualifications

• Recognised Electrical Engineering qualification (Bachelor of Electrical Engineering or equivalent).
• Proven experience delivering electrical/HVAC projects from planning through to commissioning.
• Full New Zealand Driver Licence.
• Willingness to travel throughout New Zealand.

Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of projects from initiation through to completion.
• Manage project programmes, budgets, resources, risks, and commercial outcomes.
• Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and customer stakeholders.
• Provide technical leadership and support across project activities.
• Review designs, specifications, and technical documentation.
• Manage project reporting, forecasting, variations, and contract requirements.
• Support commissioning, testing, and handover activities.
• Maintain strong customer relationships and identify growth opportunities.
• Promote a strong health, safety, environment, and quality culture across all projects.
