We’re looking for an experienced Associate or Senior Electrical Engineer to join our Christchurch Building Services team. This role combines technical leadership with meaningful client engagement across a diverse project portfolio.

Responsibilities

• Deliver practical, commercially sound electrical solutions across complex building services projects.
• Lead and contribute throughout the full project lifecycle, from concept and strategic planning to detailed design.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, coordinating resources and ensuring high‑quality delivery.
• Guide and review the work of other engineers, supporting strong technical outcomes and team development.
• Build trusted client relationships, understand needs and deliver tailored solutions that support long‑term partnerships and repeat work.
• Engage confidently with a wide range of stakeholders, advising and influencing at all organisational levels.

About You

• Chartered Electrical Engineer with a strong track record in building services.
• Knowledgeable in the New Zealand Building Code and relevant standards, with strong technical capability in electrical building services design.
• Strong market insight across sectors such as Health, Education, Commercial, Defence, and Transport.
• Effective client leader who builds enduring relationships and turns opportunities into outcomes.
• Comfortable working with and influencing a wide range of stakeholders across all levels of an organisation.
• Embraces challenges, encourages innovation, and leads with a mindset of continuous improvement.
