Job summary

Falcon Electrical in Napier is seeking an Electrical Design Engineer to design and deliver electrical systems across industrial, infrastructure and energy projects. You will work with engineers, customers and stakeholders to drive designs from concept to delivery, supported by CAD tools and modern design methods.

This growth role offers relocation support and the chance to contribute to major projects in Hawke's Bay, with an emphasis on practical electrical solutions and field-driven problem

Qualifications

• A tertiary qualification in electrical engineering, with proven experience designing electrical and control systems using CAD software.
• Strong ability to review drawings and specifications against standards and apply electrical theory to practical solutions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with analytical reporting skills.

Responsibilities

• Design electrical facilities and systems for industrial, infrastructure and energy clients, backed by the latest engineering and design software
• Prepare feasibility studies and specifications for materials and equipment purchases
• Review technical drawings and electrical specifications to meet standards
• Develop methodologies and procedures for engineering deliverables
• Analyze field survey data to solve power system challenges
