Job summary

Sourceo is seeking an Electrical Colo Regional Engineer to oversee full lifecycle support for data centers from design inception to site improvement and maintenance in Auckland. You will be the primary engineering resource for the region, driving projects and coordinating with operations, construction and design teams to meet AWS-like standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• NETA or ASHRAE certification or commissioning education required.
• Knowledge of critical data center mechanical and electrical equipment.
• Experience with design, construction, operation, or maintenance of mission critical facilities.

Responsibilities

• Review data center designs for new Colos in the region, including input and submittal review.
• Act as resident engineer during new colo construction projects.
• Support construction, commissioning, and handover activities.
• Conduct root cause analysis and document corrective actions for site equipment failures.
• Provide technical support to design for upgrades adding capacity and improving efficiency.
