Job summary

Edison Consulting Group in Auckland, North Island, is seeking an Electrical Design Draftsperson / CAD Designer to join a friendly, supportive team. You will work closely with engineers to create designs that are easily understood, safe, and practical to build.

Bring strong AutoCAD skills (3D modelling) and experience with Revit, Inventor, GIS, and automation. Knowledge of NZ standards and excellent communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of AutoCAD with 3D modelling experience.
• Experience with Revit, Inventor, GIS, and automation preferred.
• Familiarity with New Zealand electrical standards and practices.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Detail-oriented, self-driven, able to work independently or in a team.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Engineers to produce clear, safe electrical designs.
• Create CAD drawings and 3D models.
• Ensure designs comply with NZ standards.
• Support multiple projects across New Zealand.
