Job summary

Kraft Heinz is seeking an EHS Coordinator to join our NZ EHS team. You will develop and maintain HSE documentation, prepare monthly reports, lead risk assessments, and drive corrective actions across the site in Hawke’s Bay, New Zealand.

You will promote safe work practices, support audits and environmental compliance, and manage contractor safety processes while ensuring regulatory and company requirements are met.

Qualifications

• Relevant Health, Safety and Environment qualification or equivalent experience.
• Experience maintaining HSE docs, records and monthly reporting.
• Strong knowledge of legal and regulatory HSE compliance.
• Experience leading risk assessments and maintaining risk registers.
• Experience with audits/inspections and corrective actions.
• Experience with incident reporting and investigations.
• Contractor safety management experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintain HSE documents, records and policies for quick access.
• Prepare and submit monthly HSE reports.
• Run health and safety meetings and track actions to close.
• Promote safe behaviours and near-miss reporting.
• Ensure site compliance with laws, regulations and company HSE rules.
• Maintain hazard/risk registers and verify controls.
• Track audits/inspections and drive corrective actions to closure.
• Support incident investigations and root-cause analysis.
• Manage contractor safety inductions and plans review.
• Support environmental compliance monitoring and improvement.
