Job summary

Department Of Corrections is seeking a reliable driver to operate Class 2 or Class 4 vehicles and transport office furniture and equipment on commercial relocation projects.

You will assist with loading, unloading, and on-site relocation activities, work with relocation crews, and uphold health and safety standards while delivering excellent customer service on every project.

About the Role

Working on commercial relocation projects, you will be responsible for the safe transportation of office furniture, equipment, and business assets, while also supporting loading, unloading, and onsite relocation activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Operating Class 2 or Class 4 vehicles safely and efficiently


• Delivering and transporting workplace furniture and equipment


• Assisting with loading and unloading activities


• Working alongside relocation crews on client sites


• Ensuring all goods are handled with care and professionalism


• Maintaining high standards of health and safety


• Providing excellent customer service throughout each project

What We're Looking For

• Current Class 2 or Class 4 Driver Licence

• Previous experience in transport, logistics, furniture removals, or commercial relocations is advantageous

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

$27 – $30.00 per hour

Schedule:

7am - 4pm. Currently working winter hours 7:30am-4pm.

• Concrete Placing: 2 years (Preferred but not essential, training can be provided for the right candidate)


• Forklift Operating: 1 years (Preferred but not essential, training can be provided for the right candidate)
