Job summary

Surf Life Saving New Zealand (SLSNZ) is seeking a highly organised Member Education Administrator to support volunteers and members across Aotearoa. Based at any SLSNZ office, you’ll help members gain qualifications, manage records and ensure results and certificates are recognised promptly.

Reporting to the National Education Manager, you’ll respond to enquiries, process course outcomes, coordinate Recognition of Prior Learning, and help improve forms and workflows to reduce the administrative

Qualifications

• Strong administration experience and attention to detail.
• Experience with Microsoft 365 and database systems or similar platforms.
• Experience in education administration or volunteer organisations is useful.

Responsibilities

• Respond to education enquiries and provide clear, helpful guidance to members and clubs.
• Process course and examination results, qualifications and certificates, checking requirements and following up missing information.
• Coordinate Recognition of Prior Learning applications, helping applicants understand the process and arranging the required technical reviews.
• Maintain accurate qualification records and education data and prepare reports.
• Provide administration support for national courses, examinations and member development programmes, including leadership programmes.
• Improve forms, guidance and workflows to make things simpler for members and reduce the administrative load on volunteers.
