Job summary

Jora New Zealand is seeking a versatile Dispatch Coordinator in the Mid Canterbury region. You’ll coordinate day-to-day scheduling and dispatch of staff, plant and earthmoving equipment to ensure work is completed safely, efficiently and on time.

You'll bring strong local knowledge, experience in the earthmoving contracting sector, excellent organisation and communication skills, and a proactive problem-solving mindset to keep operations smoothly running.

• Sound local knowledge of the Mid Canterbury region.
• Experience in the contracting earthmoving industry.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily scheduling and dispatch of staff, plant, and equipment.
• Pricing rural jobs and preparing quotes.
• Managing a variety of administrative and operational tasks.
• Liaising with customers, suppliers, and staff.
• Ensuring schedules are updated and resources allocated efficiently.
• Providing general support to keep day-to-day operations running smoothly.
