Job summary
Watercare Services Limited in Auckland invites you to join an Instrumentation Apprenticeship, earning while you learn. The programme develops practical skills in maintenance, calibration, and troubleshooting of instrumentation and control systems across Watercare's plants and networks.
You’ll gain hands-on experience with sensors, analysers, transmitters, telemetry and automated plant equipment, learn fault-finding and calibration, and work under supervision to support reliability and safety.
Qualifications
- Team player with good communication skills.
- Strong health and safety focus.
- Willing to work occasional overtime and weekends.
- Good literacy and numeracy skills.
- Interest in electronics, automation or engineering.
- Desire to work in the water industry.
- Hands-on problem-solving and practical approach.
- Held a clean, full driver's licence.
Responsibilities
- Learn calibration and fault-finding of instrumentation.
- Maintain instrumentation and control systems across Watercare's assets.
- Gain hands-on experience with sensors, analysers, transmitters, telemetry and automation equipment.
- Work across Watercare's treatment plants and networks.
- Earn while you learn through the apprenticeship.
