Qualifications

• Recent experience in veterinary nursing practice.
• Theoretical and practical knowledge of current veterinary nursing modalities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• The ability to build positive relationships with students, colleagues, and industry stakeholders.
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Confidence using digital systems and learning technologies.
• A commitment to student success and continuous professional development.
• An understanding of Te Tiriti o Waitangi principles and a commitment to culturally responsive practice.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging learning experiences supporting student achievement and professional competence.
• Assess student performance, provide feedback, and maintain accurate records.
• Develop, review, and enhance course content to stay current with industry requirements.
• Participate in programme delivery, moderation activities, and quality assurance processes.
• Support student learning, engagement, and wellbeing to achieve positive outcomes.
• Build and maintain relationships with industry partners and stakeholders.
• Contribute to programme review and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with colleagues across EIT to achieve organisational goals.
• Maintain professional currency within the veterinary nursing field.
