Qualifications

Registration as a nurse with Nursing Council of NZ and APC current.
PhD or equivalent doctoral qualification in health or related field.
Extensive and contemporary nursing practice experience.
Proven tertiary teaching experience, preferably postgraduate nursing.
Experience supervising postgraduate research students and projects.
Strong record of research, scholarship and publications.
Excellent teaching, facilitation and learner engagement skills.
Advanced written, verbal and digital communication abilities.

Responsibilities

Design, deliver and evaluate high-quality teaching for postgraduate nursing programmes.
Supervise Master's learners undertaking research projects and dissertations.
Contribute to research, scholarly activity, publication and knowledge dissemination.
Develop and review curriculum, learning resources and assessment practices.
Ensure programme quality, compliance and academic standards.
Provide academic leadership within the School of Nursing.
Collaborate with clinical partners, professional bodies and external stakeholders.
Mentor and support postgraduate learners to achieve successful outcomes.
Promote learner engagement, wellbeing, retention and academic success.
