Kmart Aotearoa is seeking a Duty Manager to support store leaders across key in-store processes, driving efficiency and operational excellence. You will help uphold presentation standards and contribute to the successful closing of the store with accurate, safe end-of-trade tasks.

As a Duty Manager , you’ll support Kmart store leaders across key in‑store processes, helping drive efficiency & operational excellence. Supporting management strong presentation standards across the store. Contributing to the successful closing of the store, ensuring all end‑of‑trade tasks are completed accurately and safely.

What you’ll be doing

• Leadership & Motivation – Lead by example through a hands‑on approach, working alongside team members to provide support, foster collaboration, and motivate individuals to achieve shared goals and high performance.
• Strategic Thinking – Make timely decisions within scope, applying experience and judgement while seeking guidance from Department or Store Managers when needed.
• Relationship Building – Keep the team informed and aligned, fostering collaboration, valuing diverse perspectives, and recognizing individual contributions.
• Operational Excellence – Consistently achieve set goals by maintaining focus, overcoming challenges, and seeing tasks through to completion.
• Resilience & Adaptability – Demonstrate accountability by seeking input to ensure tasks are completed to standard, taking ownership of actions, and contributing new ideas.
