Foodstuffs North Island is seeking Dry Goods Assistants for the mornings in Hastings. Roles are part-time with 4:00am–7:30am shifts (10.5 hours per week) across Grocery, Chilled & Frozen, Liquor, and Trolley sub-departments. Training provided; steady year-round work and a starting rate of $26.65 per hour.

You will receive deliveries, stock shelves, and help maintain product availability in a large team environment, with emphasis on accuracy and efficiency in early hours.

Dry Goods Assistants (Mornings) - Part Time

Our Dry Goods Department Morning Team is after additional hands to join the pack! Our Dry Goods Department is comprised ofGrocery,Chilled & Frozen, Liquor and Trolleysub-departments. This advertised role is for a slot within the Morning operations & is comprised of shifts within the early hours of the morning. The tasks included in these roles include but not limited to:

We have a few roles available in our Dry Goods team & the hours forthese positions are as follows:

• Friday, Saturday and Sunday - 4:00am - 7:30am (10.5 hours per week)

The role:

• Receiving and stacking grocery deliveries from direct suppliers and our distribution center.
• Monitoring stock levels and making list of required stock to collect from storage and put on the shelf.
• Working with a large team of both full time and part time employees to ensure that our customers always have products available to purchase.
• Work across multiple sub departments within the wider Dry Goods team, Grocery, Chilled & Frozen and Liquor.

• Abilityto work alone and independently as well as in a team environment all whilst remaining productive!
• Able to take direction and correction from Dry Goods Leadership
• Eyefordetail and pride in stock presentation
• Agreatworking attitude
• Physical work is involved, with lots of lifting and stacking, so a good levelof fitness is required.
