Job summary

Linde New Zealand Ltd in Hamilton, New Zealand is seeking a Driver Trainer to develop top-tier drivers and foster a safety-first culture. You will train and mentor drivers, conduct on-vehicle and classroom sessions, and lead ongoing compliance efforts across NZ transport regulations.

You will coach on fatigue management, driving style, and performance metrics, perform audits, and coordinate external training opportunities while supporting incident reviews and promotions.

Qualifications

  • Experience in driver training or a leadership role in the gases industry.
  • Strong understanding of compliance requirements, including NZTA fatigue management.
  • Coaching and mentoring skills to foster driver improvement.
  • Ability to analyse driving data to identify high-risk behaviours.

Responsibilities

What you will enjoy doing

  • Engage in pre-employment drives, new driver onboarding, and ongoing training including yearly assessments
