Job summary

PlaceMakers Christchurch is seeking a part-time delivery driver based at the Masterton Branch to deliver orders to customers across the region in a fast-paced, safe and professional manner.

The role involves loading and unloading materials from the delivery truck, driving in tight spaces and on construction sites, and maintaining exceptional customer service. Applicants should have a full Class 2 NZ licence and be physically fit, reliable, and safety-conscious.

Qualifications

• Hold a full, clean NZ Class 2 driver's licence.
• Confident driving in tight spaces, driveways and construction sites.
• Excellent people skills and a customer service mindset.
• Physically fit as manual handling is required.
• Reliable with a good health & safety attitude.

Responsibilities

• Load/unload construction materials and complete deliveries to customers across the region.
• Part-time driving and manual handling/heavy lifting.

About the role

Delivering orders to our customers in a timely, professional, and safe manner. A fast-paced and physical role, you will be part of our close knit branch team, safely delivering orders to our customers using our delivery truck whilst ensuring that we always provide exceptional customer service.

Description

This is a permanent part-time role, offering 2 days a week, Thursdays and Fridays based in our Masterton Branch.

Daily Responsibilities Include

• Loading and Unloading construction materials from our delivery truck and completing deliveries to our customers across the region
• Part time Driving and manual handling / heaving lifting
• Safely delivering orders to our customers whilst ensuring that we always provide exceptional service
• Supporting the team to ensure our customers are receiving an exceptional service

Skills And Experience

• Hold a full, clean Class 2 NZ Drivers Licence
• Be Confident driving in tight spaces, tricky driveways and construction sites
• Have excellent people skills, a cool head and a customer service mindset
• Be physically fit as manual handling and heavy lifting are a requirement
• Be reliable and have a good attitude towards health & safety
