Job summary

WM New Zealand in Timaru is seeking two motivated drivers to join our Timaru Depot. You will undertake waste collection across Mid and South Canterbury, working independently while delivering excellent customer service and upholding high safety standards.

A Class 2 licence is preferred, but applicants with a full Class 1 licence and a willingness to learn will be considered. We offer guaranteed minimum hours, a company phone, ongoing training, licence progression support, and a strong safety

Qualifications

• Must-have: Class 2 or Class 4 licence preferred; willingness to learn and progress.

Responsibilities

• Undertake waste collection services across Mid and South Canterbury.

Position 1: Experienced Driver (Class 2 or Class 4)

We are seeking an experienced and reliable driver to undertake waste collection services throughout Mid and South Canterbury. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working independently, takes pride in providing excellent customer service, and is committed to maintaining high safety standards.

Looking to start a career in the transport industry?

This position would suit someone eager to enter the driving profession. A Class 2 licence is preferred, however applicants with a full Class 1 licence and a genuine willingness to learn and progress are encouraged to apply. WM New Zealand can support the right candidate in obtaining the required licences and qualifications.
