Job summary

Higgins is seeking permanent, full-time Class 4 & 5 Drivers to join the Green Team in Tauranga. You’ll load and transport mobile plant, operate tip trucks and trailers, and support roading and civil projects across the region.

We offer a safety-first culture with a guaranteed 40 hours per week, ongoing training, and opportunities to gain additional licences, with a supportive team environment and KiwiSaver benefits.

Qualifications

• Full clean Class 4 or Class 5 driver’s licence; WTR endorsement preferred.
• Experience driving heavy vehicles in a similar role.
• Safety-first attitude with strong teamwork.
• Willingness to learn and develop skills.

Responsibilities

• Load and transport mobile plant safely and efficiently.
• Operate tip trucks and trailers as required.
• Support roading and civil projects across the region.

The Green Team at our Tauranga branch is looking for permanent, full-time Class 4 & 5 Drivers to join our Operations team.

As an experienced Driver, you'll be confident in a variety of driving situations, whether loading and transporting mobile plant, operating tip trucks and trailers, or supporting roading and construction projects across the region.

What You'll Bring to the Role

• A safety-first attitude for yourself, your team, and the public
• Full clean Class 4 or Class 5 driver's licence (WTR endorsement preferred)
• Previous experience driving heavy vehicles in a similar role
• Strong teamwork skills
• Flexible, committed, and reliable, with a willingness to work rain or shine
• A passion for the industry and a strong work ethic
• Willingness to learn and develop your skills
