Job summary

Higgins in Tauranga is seeking permanent, full-time Class 4 & 5 Drivers to join the Green Team. You will be confident in loading and transporting mobile plant, operating tip trucks and trailers, and supporting roading and civil projects across the Tauranga region.

The role rewards a safety-first mindset, teamwork, and reliability. A valid Class 4 or 5 license (WTR preferred) and experience with heavy vehicles are required.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Class 4 or Class 5 driver's licence with WTR endorsement preferred.
• Experience driving heavy vehicles in similar roles.
• Safety-first attitude towards self, team and public.
• Strong teamwork and reliable, flexible work ethic.
• Willingness to learn and develop skills.

Responsibilities

• Drive and operate heavy vehicles across roading and construction projects.
• Load and transport mobile plant, manage trailers as required.
• Support roading and construction projects across the Tauranga region.

The Green Team at our Tauranga branch is looking for permanent, full-time Class 4 & 5 Drivers to join our Operations team.

As an experienced Driver, you'll be confident in a variety of driving situations, whether loading and transporting mobile plant, operating tip trucks and trailers, or supporting roading and construction projects across the region.

What You'll Bring to the Role

• A safety-first attitude for yourself, your team, and the public
• Full clean Class 4 or Class 5 driver's licence (WTR endorsement preferred)
• Previous experience driving heavy vehicles in a similar role
• Strong teamwork skills
• Flexible, committed, and reliable, with a willingness to work rain or shine
• A passion for the industry and a strong work ethic
• Willingness to learn and develop your skills
