Job summary

Metro Performance Glass Ltd in Auckland is seeking a reliable Class 4 Truck Driver to join our Highbrook team. You will load your truck, secure loads, and make deliveries to Tauranga with early hours from 1:30am to 11:00am, Monday to Friday.

We value practical, safety‑minded individuals who can interact with customers and branch staff. A Class 4 licence is essential; a Class 5 licence will fast‑track applications.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Load and unload glass products and secure loads on the truck.
• Deliver to customers as per schedule, including Tauranga region.

We’re on the hunt for a solid, reliable Class 4 Truck Driver to join our Highbrook team.

This is a hands-on role where you’ll be loading your truck, securing the load properly, and making deliveries to Tauranga, 1:30am-11:00am, Monday -Friday. You’ll be dealing with our branch and customers face-to-face, so getting the job done safely, on time, and without the drama is what it’s all about.

We need someone who’s done this kind of work before, knows their way around a truck, and holds a clean 4 licence (if you have a class 5 too that will move your application to the front of the queue!)

You’ll be practical, switched on, and able to talk with customers just as easily as you can handle the physical side of the job.

You’ll be moving glass products, so there’s heavy lifting involved. If you’re not afraid of a bit of hard work, take pride in doing things right, and back yourself when it comes to health and safety, you’ll fit in well here.
