Job summary

Smart Environmental – Wairoa, North Island is seeking a casual Driver to join our team. This role offers flexible hours and opportunities to gain experience in the waste collection industry, with training provided.

You will log trips, cover for leave, operate a range of vehicles safely, and work with a supportive team. NZ citizenship/residency or NZ visa required.

Qualifications

• Holds a NZ Class 4 driver’s licence or equivalent.
• LEV experience is desirable but training will be provided.
• Wheels Tracks and Rollers is advantageous.
• Comfortable working at heights.
• Able to work flexible hours.
• Confident with technology and phone use.

Responsibilities

• Cover for employees who are on Annual or Sick Leave.
• Logging information on Eroad/Logbook.
• Trained to safely operate one of our range of vehicles.
• Keep fit while you work - you may be required to get in and out of the truck multiple time’s.

About the Role:

Days of Work: As and When Required

Key responsibilities:

• Cover for employees who are on Annual or Sick Leave
