We're looking for a drainlayer (Christchurch City Council authorised) who is keen to get involved in civil infrastructure projects and join an awesome team delivering quality drainage solutions to our growing client base.
To be successful in this role you are:
Responsible for installing, repairing and maintaining drainage systems to ensure they meet local council specifications and standards.
Using the appropriate equipment to place sections of piping.
Providing manual labour assistance on various jobs as required.
Committed to providing fully compliant, cost-effective and timely drainage solutions.
The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications and attributes:
Strong communication skills to coordinate effectively with team members and site workers from other trades.
Ability to read blueprints and other project related documents.
A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
Ready to hit the ground running and get amongst it.
Paul Smith Earthmoving specialises in earthmoving, excavation, demolition, drainage, construction, contaminated site remediation, track and road maintenance, landscaping, rock supply, landfill management, trucking, and transport works.
We employ over 200 permanent staff based throughout our Timaru, Ashburton, Christchurch, Greymouth, Twizel and Central Otago offices. While based permanently in these locations, we also complete projects throughout the South Island.
