Job summary

Foodstuffs North Island is seeking an Online Driver to act as a brand ambassador by delivering online shopping orders to customers on the nominated day and time, while delivering friendly, efficient service.

You will join a team with flexible full time and part time shifts, including one weekend day. The role requires a clean driver’s license, good local knowledge, and the physical ability to lift up to 15 kg to reach customers’ doors.

Qualifications

• A focused and can-do attitude for busy shifts.
• Geographical knowledge of the surrounding delivery area.
• A full and clean Class one or restricted driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Deliver shopping orders to customers in good condition within daily time frames.
• Navigate driveways, hills, stairs, and other obstacles to customers’ doors.
• Communicate with online customers about orders and delivery status.
• Regularly lift up to 15 kg, bend, reach, and perform repetitive movements.
• Assist online shoppers to pick orders when needed.
