Job summary

Bidfood Whangarei, a leader in New Zealand’s foodservice industry, is seeking a reliable Class 2 Driver to join the team. This full-time role offers steady hours Monday to Friday with rostered Saturdays, delivering to a range of customers from rest homes to cafés.

You will work in a fast-paced environment, staying active and providing excellent service. Applicants must be physically fit, hold a Full Class 2 Drivers Licence, and be willing to pass necessary checks and drug tests.

Qualifications

• Positive attitude and strong communication skills.
• Physically fit and healthy – manual handling, including heavy lifting, is part of the daily routine.
• Previous customer service experience is desirable.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Must pass a Criminal History Check, ACC check, and pre-employment drug test.
• Full Class 2 Drivers Licence (Medium Rigid Vehicle)

Responsibilities

• Deliver to a variety of customers, including rest homes, hospitals, cafés, restaurants, and more.
• Provide excellent customer service, ensuring accurate and timely deliveries.
• A fast-paced, physical role requiring an active and fit individual.
• Full-time position: Monday to Friday with rostered Saturdays (Minimum 40 hours per week)
