Remarkable People Limited is recruiting a Door Finishing Operator to join a busy Rangiora manufacturing team. This hands-on temp-to-permanent role offers security with a well-established company and a friendly, supportive work environment.

You will prepare and press materials, sand and finish door leaves, install glazing components, and inspect finished products while helping maintain quality throughout the production line.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in manufacturing is essential.
• Experience in joinery, woodworking, glazing, or a similar trade is highly advantageous.
• Strong attention to detail and pride in producing quality work.
• Good level of physical fitness.
• Reliable with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
• Able to work well within a team.
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test.
• Must have the legal right to work in New Zealand.

Responsibilities

• Preparing and pressing HPL, veneer skins, steel sheets, capping, and glazing materials.
• Sanding, finishing, and assembling door leaves.
• Installing glass, grilles, and steel sheets.
• Inspecting finished products and carrying out repairs and touch‑ups where required.
• Maintaining quality standards throughout the manufacturing process.
