Fulton Hogan in Hawke's Bay is seeking a Divisional Manager - Utilities to lead a high-performing team delivering safe, quality work on time and within budget across the region. You'll own the divisional financial performance, safety, people leadership and customer relationships, shaping how the division grows and how forward work is secured through pricing, tendering and smart commercial decisions.

Qualifications

• Senior leadership experience in utilities, civil construction or infrastructure.
• Strong client relationship skills and ability to negotiate practical commercial outcomes.
• Knowledge of contracting and contract management (NZS3910 preferable).
• Financial planning, budgeting, forecasting and performance management.
• People-first leadership with a safety focus and team development.

This is a key leadership role in Hawke's Bay for someone who knows the utilities space and wants to make a real impact. As Divisional Manager - Utilities, you'll lead a business that delivers good work safely, on time, within budget and to a high standard across the region.

You'll own the divisional contribution to the regional business plan across financial performance, safety, people leadership, forward work, operational delivery and customer relationships. It's a role with real scope, real responsibility and plenty of room to shape how the division grows. • Proven senior leadership experience in utilities, civil construction or infrastructure, with a strong track record of operational and commercial delivery.
• Strong relationship skills and the confidence to work closely with clients, understand what matters to them and negotiate practical commercial outcomes.
• Solid contracting and commercial knowledge, including a sound understanding of NZS3910 and disciplined contract management.
• Financial management experience, with the ability to lead against plans, budgets and targets while keeping close to performance.
• A people-first leadership style, strong safety focus and the ability to build capable teams who work hard, back each other and keep moving forward together.
