Job summary

Fulton Hogan in Hawke’s Bay seeks a Divisional Manager – Utilities to lead a region-wide team delivering safe, high-quality work on time and within budget.

You will own financial performance, safety, people leadership and customer relationships, build a strong forward work pipeline, and shape the division’s growth strategy.

This leadership role requires senior utilities or civil construction experience, strong contractor management and a hands-on, people-first approach.

Qualifications

• Senior leadership experience in utilities, civil construction or infrastructure.
• Proven ability to lead safety and productivity.
• Strong stakeholder management with clients, subcontractors and suppliers.
• Solid contracting and commercial knowledge, including NZS3910.
• Financial management and budgeting experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead the utilities division to deliver safe, high-quality work on time and within budget.
• Drive financial performance through planning, budgeting, forecasting and capex.
• Build and maintain a pipeline of forward work via pricing, tendering and engagement.
• Develop teams with clear expectations and a culture of accountability and safety.
