Belron New Zealand is seeking a hands-on Distribution Team Leader to run the Distribution Centre's day-to-day operations and lead a high-performing team, delivering reliable service and efficient warehouse performance across inbound, storage and outbound processes.

We’re looking for a hands-on and motivated Distribution Team Leader to support the day-to-day operations of our Distribution Centre and lead a high-performing team.
This role plays a key part in delivering supply chain excellence through strong leadership, efficient warehouse operations and a focus on consistently superior customer service. You’ll be responsible for coordinating daily activities across inbound, storage and outbound processes while ensuring safety, accuracy and performance standards are met.
You’ll also take ownership of team engagement and development, coaching and supporting your people to deliver strong results while building positive, high-performing culture.
Working Hours: 40 hours, Mon - Fri (occasional Saturday may be required)
Minimum 5 years’ warehousing management experience
Proven experience leading or supervising a distribution or warehouse team
Experience working with warehouse management and supply chain systems.
Ability to manage workflows, resources and KPIs to drive performance.
Solid understanding of health and safety practices within warehouse environment
Strong communication, problem-solving and leadership skills.
Confident using Microsoft Office tools (especially Excel).
Proven experience using a Reach Truck to put away crates of glass at heights (up to 500kg).
Experience with MPI or transitional facility operations (advantageous)
Physical capability to repetitively lift heavy items (up to 25kg) during a normal working day.
A full driver's license is a minimum requirement.
You must have unrestricted rights to work in New Zealand.
Diploma or higher qualification, or relevant experience in Logistics, Operations Management, or Leadership.
The successful candidate will be required to undergo pre-employment drug and alcohol screening test.
