Job summary

Chemist Warehouse Lower Queen Street is seeking a motivated and passionate Dispensary Technician. This full-time position requires a Level 4 or 5 Pharmacy Technician qualification and involves assisting with prescriptions, dispensing, and patient counselling.

You will support Pharmacists, manage stock, handle administrative tasks, and contribute to a friendly, customer-focused environment. National Criminal History Check will be required.

Qualifications

• Qualified pharmacy technician with Level 4 or 5 Pharmacy Technician qualification.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work accurately in a fast-paced dispensary.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with prescriptions and general enquiries.
• Assist Pharmacists in dispensing medications.
• Counselling customers about medications.
• Dispensary stock management and replenishment.
• Updating customer records and other administrative tasks.

The Opportunity

Chemist Warehouse Lower Queen Street is seeking a motivated and passionate individual to join our team as a Full-Time Dispensary Technician! This position is for a qualified technician with a level 4 or 5 Pharmacy Technician qualification.

Job Responsibilities

Assist customers with their prescription and general enquiries

Assist Pharmacists in dispensing medications

Counselling customers about medications

Dispensary stock management and replenishment

Updating customer files and other administrative tasks

Skills

Dedicated work ethic and a strong team player

Experience working in the dispensary

Strong interpersonal, organisational and problem-solving skills

Certifications

Dispensary Assistant Qualificationas a minimum

Physical Requirements
