Job summary

Community Living is seeking dedicated and experienced Support Workers to join our Residential team in Katikati and Omokoroa. These roles are part-time and casual, requiring availability for all shift patterns, including sleepovers, to provide 24/7 support as required.

You will support individuals with disabilities to live independently and engage with their local community, using strong communication and interpersonal skills, a full NZ driver’s licence, and permanent work rights in New Zealand.

Qualifications

• Experience in disability support and complex care.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Full NZ driver’s licence and access to a reliable vehicle.
• NZ Citizens or Residents with permanent work rights in NZ.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily living support, personal cares, meal prep, and light housekeeping.
• Support access to community activities and appointments.
• Advocate for the individuals you support and help achieve personal goals.
• Maintain accurate records and contribute to care plans.
• Participate in ongoing training and development.
