Job summary

Bruce Pulman Park is one of New Zealand's leading sport, recreation and community hubs. Established in 2001 through the vision of Bruce Pulman, the Park has grown into a facility serving youth, volunteers, clubs, schools and elite athletes. Its Olympic-standard indoor and outdoor venues host activity from community sport to international competition.

The Park is anchored in South Auckland and is evolving into a Sports Campus spanning participation, performance, events, hospitality and commercial partnership. The Board, staff and stakeholders are united in stewarding this asset for future generations.

About The Role

The Trust Board seeks an outstanding Director - Business Development & Partnerships to create demand and relationships that will drive the South Auckland Sports Campus. The role will build strategic partnerships, sponsorships and funding relationships, negotiate complex commercial agreements, strengthen the Park's market profile and convert sporting organisations and corporate partners from transactional hirers into long-term collaborators.

This is a rare opportunity to shape sustainable revenue growth while ensuring partnerships deliver participation, community benefit and enduring value for South Auckland.

You will be an experienced commercial leader with proven ability to:
