Digital Forensics sits at the heart of modern policing. As part of the High-Tech Crime Group, you will be immersed in a fast‑moving, ever‑changing environment where your skills will directly support investigative outcomes.

• Clean and current (full) Driver’s license
• IT degree or work experience within an IT related field
• Complete Certified Forensic Computer Examiner certification as part of the career structure
• Be eligible to obtain a Secret National Security Clearance.

Security Clearance Requirements:

To be eligible for this role, youmust obtain and maintainaSECRETnational security clearance.

The minimum criteria for this level of national security clearance is:

NZ Citizen who has resided continuously in NZ for the last10years, or:

• A Permanent Resident who has resided continuously in NZ for the last10years, or
• A citizen of or has resided continuously in one or more of the following countriesfor the last 10years: Australia, Canada, United Kingdom, or United States of America, and has a background that can be verified by the NZSIS.

This position is covered by a collective agreement, and salary will commence between $80,295 - $83,973 depending on skills and experience relevant to the role.
