Job description

Mō te tūranga | About the role

Fulton Hogan has secured the IAF Hamilton reservoir project, which includes a new 25 mega-litre water reservoir and pump station, a large diameter trunk watermain and other local waters upgrades and improvements. The project is expected to support around 4,000 new homes, located close to employment, education and transport to enable a ‘20- minute city’ where people can live, work and play in the same space and reduce their need for travel.

We’re looking for a Digital Engineering Specialist to help us do good work in smarter ways. In this role, you’ll build, maintain and support digital engineering workflows that help our teams find, trust and use data across our construction projects.

You’ll work across BIM, GIS, survey, spatial and automation, turning complex 2D and 3D data into practical tools our project teams can actually use. From models and visualisations to geospatial data and common data environments, you’ll help improve decision making, project delivery and customer outcomes.

This is a hands‑on role for someone who likes solving problems, improving how things work and working alongside good people who back each other. We take the work seriously, not ourselves, and when it counts, we switch on and deliver to a high standard.

Ideally based in Tauranga, this role will require some travel to Hamilton on a weekly basis .
