The role combines hands-on project delivery with national influence shaping tools, standards, and ways of working to lift consistency, quality, and efficiency.

You will lead the adoption of best practice modelling, BIM, and digital engineering tools while supporting project teams to deliver high-quality outcomes for clients.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in digital engineering within infrastructure or water.
• Ability to lead and embed digital delivery standards across teams.
• Hands-on contributor to project delivery while coaching others.
• Experience supporting digital transformation initiatives within engineering environments.
• Strong stakeholder engagement to influence at both project and leadership levels.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support digital delivery across water projects, modelling, design, and technical outputs.
• Establish and embed consistent modelling standards, workflows, and quality frameworks.
• Act as a technical advisor to the Water Leadership Team on digital engineering practices.
• Drive improvements in tools, systems, and processes to enhance efficiency and delivery outcomes.
• Coach and uplift capability within project teams across the country.
• Support the adoption and implementation of ISO 19650-aligned practices.
• Contribute to strategic direction for digital engineering within the water sector.
• Enhance client outcomes through high-quality, reliable digital delivery.
