Job summary

Fulton Hogan Limited in Tauranga seeks a Digital Engineering Specialist to build and support digital workflows across BIM, GIS, survey and spatial data. You will turn 2D/3D data into practical tools to aid project delivery and decision-making. This is a hands-on role with travel to Hamilton weekly.

You will collaborate with delivery teams, manage geospatial datasets, and help implement interoperable CAD/BIM models and data environment practices.

Qualifications

Diploma or degree in Engineering, Surveying, CS or related field.
Strong knowledge of NZ BIM Handbook, ISO 19650 and field surveying workflows.
Experience with listed BIM/GIS/CAD tools and data workflows.
Good data management, planning and organisational skills.
Collaborative, customer-focused approach with safety and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

Create, review and maintain CAD drawings, BIM models, visualisations and geospatial datasets.
Manage digital content in common data environments and support integrated 2D/3D data workflows.
Support delivery teams with construction staging, validated data, as-built records and digital plans.
Work with delivery partners to develop interoperable GIS, CAD and BIM models.
Provide practical support, coordination and basic training to teams on digital tools and workflows.
