Job summary

Fulton Hogan Ltd has a Hamilton reservoir project with a new water reservoir, pump station and trunk watermain. The Digital Engineering Specialist will build and maintain CAD/BIM and geospatial data, support 2D/3D workflows and improve project delivery.

The role requires a degree in engineering or related field and at least 3 years’ construction experience, with strong BIM/ISO 19650 knowledge and experience in tools such as Civil 3D, Revit, Navisworks and ArcGIS Online.

Qualifications

Diploma or Degree in Engineering, Surveying, Computer Science or related, plus at least 3 years’ experience in construction with site exposure.
Strong knowledge of NZ BIM Handbook, ISO 19650 and field-based surveying workflows.
Experience with the listed tools and ability to manage data across CAD/BIM/GIS environments.

Responsibilities

Create, review and maintain CAD drawings, BIM models, visualisations and geospatial datasets.
Manage digital content in common data environments and support integrated 2D/3D data workflows.
Support delivery teams with construction staging, validated data, as-built records and digital engineering execution plans.
Collaborate with delivery partners to develop interoperable GIS, CAD and BIM models.
Provide basic training to help teams adopt digital engineering tools and workflows.
